i'm a candy/chocolate/carb addict and compulsive eater trying to recover!

UPDATE 9/27/09
I am honored to say that I have now lost over 50 pounds with the help of Sparkpeople. I still have a little ways to go with my weight loss, but the differences in how I feel and live are immeasurable and amazing.

It is even more amazing to begin thinking about other health, fitness, and life goals that do not include weight loss! I can't wait until maintenance begins. . .more goals to reach!

Fitness Minutes: 10,570

My Goals:
My major goal is to stop eating junk food daily, to cut carbs, and to eat a healthy, balanced, clean diet. No more high-fructose corn syrup or partially hydrogenated anything!

Also, to start being active and working out. This will be the hardest part for me because i haaaaaate working out!

All in all, i want to lose all my extra weight, get trim and fit, and avoid getting diabetes!

UPDATE 9/27:
Never in a million years would I have imagined myself as healthy and active as I am now! I have not eaten a candy bar in 5 months (after eating 2-3 candy bars A DAY!). Have not binged in months. I am active almost every day, and now a work out junkie!

Some new goals=
1. Quit smoking
2. Focus on strength training, leaning out and reducing body fat.
3. Get those last 15-20 pounds off!

My Program:
As of 9/27/09 (after losing 50 lbs!):

Continue with 1200-1550 calories a week (concentrating on keeping my calories on the low end of that range).

Continue eating clean, vegetarian, healthy, and organic as much as possible/affordable.

Continue avoiding carb-binges and junk food-binges.

Continue doing cardio 5-6 times a week, strength training 3-4 times a week.

    Welcome back! I know what you mean, you can always tell that it's been awhile since you've been tracking regularly and hanging around the site because you definitely notice the scale creep up. I got that recently too, lol. Best of luck! :)

    Hey I just saw your status about being off track and gaining. The hardest part I have found is forgiving myself for binging or indulging in unhealthy behavior. I am sure you didn't gain that much, since your last blog a week or so ago said you had lost 60 lbs. Give yourself a break and get back on the wagon:)
