If you want to fly with the Banshees, you have to go where the Banshees are. JAKE SULLY!

I hunt the Niobrara River and Fort Robinson area in Nebraska for whitetail, mule deer, and turkey. I hunt the Mogollon Rim for elk and the White Mountains for turkey in Arizona. I have 151 acres on the Niobrara River with 3/4 mile of river frontage. Just started single action shooting and cowboy fastdraw. I shoot the 45 Colt. Alias is Alleluia Ruah.

My Goals:
To get my body fat to 22% while being fit and in condition to hike and hunt.

My Program:
I follow the recommendation of Dr. Sears in "Enter the Zone" which says that we should eat what we were genetically made to eat. Protein should be at a 75% ratio with carbs. Fats don't really matter. It is the carbs that make you gain weight.

Other Information:
The blue monkeys in Avatar were a faith-based, spirit-filled, prayful, grateful, fit, people. Sort of what we would be if we ate and did what we should. The Lord did not make us to be fat, ill, or recumbent.

Thanks for the goodie! She was a wonderful dog. My hubby bought her for me as a college graduation present so I wouldn't have to live alone until we were married the following year. She was a great bird hunting dog and running partner. It was hard to put her down, but she had a bad uterine infection with no chance of a cure. I couldn't stand the thought of her in pain. We buried her overlooking a backwater on the Wisconsin River where she retrieved many many birds. The spot overlooks the place where my husband proposed to me.

Actually, I stalked the bear up in Quebec while caribou hunting. Extremely thrilling experience!

I know it sounded bad, but I'm getting to the point in my life where I don't care what people think. Hopefully, I gave somebody a little chuckle. It does look really nice and I can't wait to see it after it dries and is painted.

Hubby does all the taxidermy work...I'm just the helper. I hold things in place while he adjusts things to his liking. He does a fabulous job for relatives and friends. He is mounting a full body mountain goat for his best friend. I was just helping him get the form right...no matter what, each form has to be customized to fit the hide. Most of his hides he sends out to be tanned but he has done a few himself. He just doesn't usually have the time.
