One Day At @ Time!!!

Hello There, My Name Is Belgica (Belgy)..
I've been over weight all my life, tried so many diets, exercise, you name it.. my weight been up and down but I didn't really pay any attetion to it because always was feeling confident about myself, my average weight was always 235-250 and very active person...
But between 2008-2009 is been Hard everything chnge for some reason up-side down I start gaining weight out of proportion..
Any time I felt Down or depress or stress I end-up ...

Any time I felt Down or depress or stress I end-up sitting in front of the tv eating at every comercial..it wans't hungry it was making my life miserable...
After my Marriage was over I though well what left to do??? then After that I lost my Job Also !!!! Whatttttttttttttttt 2 strike in less than 3 month...Rough time for me..I Don't have words To Thanks My Parents to be supportive all the time without them i wouldn't survive..
And when I Realize that the only one that I was hurting it wasn't nobody else but me.. YES ME..
so Here I'm making change on my life for good.....2010 it will be a better year...... Year of let the Diva Latina is hidding inside of This Apple-shape Body...

My Goals:
My goals is to get down to 135 from 300 but little by little so my first goal is 20 pounds in Dec....

My Program:
I am going to Eat More veggies, fruits, Nuts, White Meat, Fish...

At the same time, I will be cut all kind of sugar and use splenda instead and low fat yogurt..

Current cardio workout includes:
Stationary Bike - 20 min walking - 30 min

Goal is to be able to run 5k by next summer..

Personal Information:
I live in Meriden ct, Just move from Massachusset After A 6 years Of Marriage, Starting a new Life..

It's challenge time again diva! August is coming to an end and that means a brand new team challenge for September. School is starting back up again and many of us are also getting ready to commit to ourselves full time again. These past few weeks we've had many new divas join, so we're all on the same page with starting fresh in September. Buon Giorno Diva!!!

The weekend is just about here. How are you going to spend it? Falling off the wagon or staying on and holding tight? I found a great quote that rings true to all those small things we do. Think about that when making food choices this weekend. Have a good one!

Ain't that the truth? Too many times we're all looking at the big picture on not focusing on the little things that make the big picture possible. Take time to look at the little things each day because those little things when put together will bring the success in the end. So when you tell yourself that one piece won't hurt or that you'll eat better tomorrow, stop yourself and make the healthier and the right choice. We have to start somewhere, why not start right now? Let's conquer the dreaded weekend and make it happen this time. We can all do it! Ciao!

My Diva Two Cents: Too many time we're always wanting it to happen right now. We watch the weight loss shows and see those big numbers each week and wonder why we can't do that. Be realistic in your goals. Instead of always saying I lost a pound or two, rejoice in that. Every bit no matter how big or small that you contribute to your weight loss journey will lead you to success at the end.
