March 2009 I went on a Carribean cruise but I was 20 lbs heavier than I wanted to be.





My niece and nephew came to visit in June 2009, still I was 20 lbs heavier than I wanted to be. It's amazing how a little middle body fat can slow you down.

Hello! Three years ago I lost over 100lbs but never finished the last leg of my journey, the last 10-15 lbs and to become fit and strong. I have been up and down within 20 lbs ever since. I am now working to 3.5% more on the body fat (for 27%) at whatever weight that turns out to be, and to become lean and athletic.

My Goals:
I am working to reach 27% body fat, at whatever weight that turns out to be. I would like to feel lean and strong. Of course then the trick is maintaining.

My Program:
Currently I am working out a minimum of 5 days a week. I had been focusing on cardio but now I am switching to more strength training and yoga with some cardio.

Personal Information:
I volunteer for ReadWest, a Literacy foundation, where I have 2 students I am helping with their reading goals. I am a member of SGI (Nichiren Buddhism). I work in IT, and have been with my company for 20 years. I have no children but I have 2 cats and a boyfriend. They keep me plenty busy!

Other Information:
I love Dr Wayne Dyer books, they are very inspirational and have helped me reach many of my goals over the years.

Thanks for adding me as a friend! I just read your sp and wow girl you lost a 100lbs..you must feel great....my main purpose to lose weight this time is I'm tired of the inconvenience of being overweight....I have come to realize it just takes a lot longer to accomplish everyday activities....I'll be glad when it is gone...I know what I was 10lbs from what I would consider my normal weight it was hard to lose, but it sounds like you are taking the right steps....kepp up the great job...can you image, 100lbs of potatoes, would you be able to even pick it up...your body is definitely thanking you for it..i have lost 12 so far and can already tell i feel better.....with the exercise i'm sure that is a hugh contributor....to my feeling great...
