My SparkPeople Weight Loss Page

I want to lose weight for a couple of reasons. (1) It might possibly help with my sleep apnea, and give me some more energy hopefully in turn reducing anxiety and depression. (2) Help me become a better athlete, so far I've already noticed some more energy playing Ice Hockey. I'd like to start playing racquetball and I can't wait to play some volleyball this summer.

UPDATE!!! I hit my goal a week early. I've lost 13.8% of my weight in 11 weeks.

(1) Didn't help with the sleep apnea (Doh.... well at least now I'd feel better about trying some other options like bite splint, or sugery)

(2) Wow, all I can say is wow. I've got a ton more energy when playing ice hockey. Don't feel like I'm sucking wind all the time, and just got back from a 3 day hockey camp and had a hockey game the next day without being all sluggish. I'm sure that all that cardio at the gym paid off 100%
