I'm Becky. I was born and raised in West Tennessee. My husband is a salior in the US Navy and we currently live in Norfolk, Va. I have 2 beautiful dogs. I want to get back into shape, for my health and for my brother's up coming wedding in September 2009. I love to read, stamp, and scrapbook. I work part time and am a full time house wife. I love my life, but am looking to change me a little bit.

HI Im julie I saw that you have started towards a better you!! Congrats..
I live in norfolk also, and Im looking for a spark/walkin buddy.. I live in the norview area of norfolk.. Im 34 and have been struggling with my weight all my life.. I have 105 lbs to loose and I have already lost 17 since I started sparklin again... I have been on and off of this site for going on 2 years in may..
I am a fulltime caregiver for my mother in law rose, she had a major stroke a few years back and is now paralized... Im hoping my gumption will get her to do her therapy again..

Hello and Welcome to Sparks. Congrats on making this first step to getting healthy. Here, you will recieve lots of info on how to change your life for good. There also is many sparkers waiting to welcome you and encourage you while you are on this journey. Don't let this place overwhelm you. It will take a couple of weeks to really feel like you know what you are doing. The most important thing I can say to you is NEVER GIVE UP. No matter how many times you may fall, just pick yourself up and keep going. Find teams that will meet your needs. Then post everyday. This will help keep you accountable. Find those who have lost the weight. I like hanging out with them because they did it. If you need anything just let me know. If I don't know the answer I will help find it.

You CAN do this, if you don't quit. You can release five pounds, 10 times and get to that goal. So many Sparkers have gone before you, so check all the success stories. Go to the top of the tool bar, click community, then Spark Pages, and then go down to WEIGHT LOSS SUCCESS. You can see them.

You will be one of them!!!!!!!
