The Runner in me!
6 months after giving birth to my daughter I am below my pre-pregnancy weight and still losing. I have set a goal of 119lbs (8 and 1/2 stone) but I may rethink that as I get closer. I'm back running races again and did my first ever 10k in 56 minutes 59 seconds on September 23rd and I am doing a half marathon in October. I am looking forward to setting more fitness goals in the future. I haven't always had the best relationship with food, well... I don't think I've ever had a good ...

I am looking forward to setting more fitness goals in the future. I haven't always had the best relationship with food, well... I don't think I've ever had a good relationship with food until now. My body confidence was minimal before I got pregnant but it's now better than ever before thanks to Sparkpeople. I'm continuously building on my healthy habits so I can pass them on to my daughter.

My Goals:
Go from 171 to 140lbs by November 17th and keep it off over Christmas and beyond. New Goal - Go from 140lbs to 119lbs by November 26th and keep it off over Christmas and beyond. Final Goal - Eat maintenance calories and exercise the last last 10lbs off slowly (31st December) Goal 1 - 168 - Done Goal 2 - 161 - Done Goal 3 - 154 - Done Goal 4 - 147 - Done Goal 5 - 140 - Done Goal 6 - 133 - Done Goal 7 - 126 - Done Goal 8 - 119 Each time I achieve a goal I will find a way to treat myself, maybe a facial or some new clothes.
My Program:
Eat less, move more. Lots of exercise, Stationary bike 4 x per week 30min run 2 x per week 1hr+ run 1 x per week Martial Arts Training 2 x week (3 classes)
Personal Information:
I live in South Wales in the UK. I love to be outdoors and I really enjoy setting myself a challenge. Next Challenges:- Swansea 10k - 23rd September - Done 56min 59sec Cardiff Half Marathon - 14th October Martial Arts competition - November Ultimate Challenge, get back on my bike for the first time since being hit off and aim for my first triathlon
