It's been 5 years since I started SP which is kind of unbelievable and I never thought I would be still at it after all this time. When I started on SP I was a working professional with an infant and my husband was a stay-at-home dad. In January 2010 I was laid off and took that opportunity to spend some time with my son who by then was 4 years old. My husband got a job based out of southern Arizona and was able to travel for work throughout 2010. To cut down on some of the travel, we decided to move to southern Arizona and have been here since January 2011.

My Goals:
I am working on my next goal of 118. Once I hit that I'll decide if I want to try to lose more. It is taking a long time to get there so I don't know if I will ever make that goal!

My Program:
I walk about 2 miles 4-5 times a week. I also do a short meditation and yoga session 4-5 times a week. In the winter I swim laps for about 30 minutes twice a week. week and in the summer I ride my bike 20-50miles per week.

I am pretty good about staying in the middle of my calorie range. I have cut way back on my wine & beer drinking which has made a big difference in my energy levels and allows me to be much more active.

I also quit smoking in Jan 2007 which has made physical activity much easier.

Personal Information:
I'm originally from the West Coast but am currently living in the Mid-Atlantic Region after living in Europe for 20 years and Asia for 4 years.

I saw your posts about migraines. Are you able to take anything for them that brings relief? I have had them for going on 30 years (basically since puberty) and find that usually Maxalt or Frova will help me out. Over the counter stuff does basically nothing. I get them 2-4 times per month but almost never find myself debilitated anymore. Staying well-hydrated helps too.

I don't mean to pry or preach, just saw your post and wanted to touch base with you.

Hey! I saw your post on the weekly calorie challenge and I did horrible day before yesterday too! Like 2500 calories!! Ah! But, it's a new week for both of us. We'll both do really good this week. You've already lost so much weight! Go you!
