In 2009, I decided to start running. Overdoing it... I injured myself and was sidelined for a short time. After physical therapy, I was given the green light to try again... SLOWLY. I was told about the Couch to 5k program (C25K.com), completing it in February 2010. I ran three races, then quit.

Since then, I gained about 10 pounds back that I'd lost. A coworker invited me to join her in a 5K race in September 2011 and that got me off the couch and training again. I finished the race (running/walking) and then finished the C25K program. I continued running until November 2011.

November 19th, I started following the P90X workout program. The following week, I brought my nutrition closer in line with the recommendations for Phase 1... though some days it looks more like Phase 2. I'll keep following this nutrition portion plan for now.

One rest day per week, according to P90X program.

As part of the Winter Challenge, I will post my minutes and LTGL challenges daily and record my weight on Saturdays.

    Nice to have you back! Happy valentines day! Got the kids and the husband a few treats. Luckily no one ran out and got me anything emoticon Just feeling a little sorry for myself there. I'll end up eating their chocolates anyway emoticon That's why I get them stuff I like!
    I had an eat whatever January, but have been trying to improve things this month. Work has been slower than normal so I have been running a lot, and it has been feeling really good. Still doing the Livefit strength training program. Actually had to go out and buy heavier weights.

    YES- pulled a calf at 5 am out of a cow named Katie. Hate it when they have names- the pressure is really on not to screw up. She got an epidural which is more than I had through 2 births so I think she was comfortable. Was going to take a picture and post it but got to looking at another calf and forgot. Will do on next one. The owner even had a coffee for me to go. The hand felt really good too which was a relief. Came home and ate 2 WHITE toast with peanut butter. AAAAAAARGH!!

    Another week gone by... how are you holding up? My runs and strength training have been great, and so has my diet- for a sumo wrestler :)
