Ran the last 2 days and did some strength training. Had a busy night last night so I slept this afternoon then got up and ate every piece of bad food I could find in the house. I am now watching America's Next Top Model with my daughter, feeling like a bloated tick and watching really skinny 20 somethings fight about really stupid stuff. You couldn't pay me enough money to go back to that age, tight abs or not! Looking forrward to a new month and a little more motivation. Calving season hit with a vengeance this week. I have been up every night with at least one call. By Friday I was seriously sleep deprived and eating anything with fructose as the number one ingredient on the box. I finally got some sleep last night and ate better today but I feel like I am in a sugar hangover today. My guts are protesting and I have had a headache all day. Needless to say I haven't run in over a week which sucks. Was jealous when I read you got a run in :) Keep it up- I'll be cheering you on. I have found that the strength programs have really helped with my strength at work. I am usually sore the first few weeks but have felt really good so far. Nice to feel the difference. Hope your weekend wasn't too painful. I've never had a root canal but I hate any dental work. I sit in the chair as rigid as a board and just will it to be over- even a teeth cleaning. Ugh, that scraping.
Sounds like you needed a bit of a break from the X. I find my workout routine ebbs and flows with work, family and just plain mental status. I think the important thing is to do a little bit of something most days- like no one has ever come up with that earth shattering observation before
