May 6, 2006: I had to go buy new jeans! None of my jeans -- even my "skinny" jeans -- fit me! Size SIX!! Woo-hoo and again I say, woo-hoo!!

June 3, 2006: More than goal weight achieved; ideal goal weight!! WOW, I LOVE this place!!

August 2006: Still maintaining ideal weight. Did I mention I love this place?

Sept 2006: Up a couple pounds (127) but just bought two suits for work -- size 4!

Nov. 2006: Still there, 125 to 127 pounds. Bought myself a pair of size 5 JUNIOR jeans.

Oct 2009: Now in the dating world, playing havoc with dieting! I'm getting back on SparkPeople with the goal of 8 to 10 pounds off!

February 22, 2007 -- ONE YEAR!! I've maintained my weight loss! I've only had variations of a couple pounds here and there over the course of the year, since reaching my goal in June 2006. Dropped too low once (121 lbs) and that was a little scary but mostly stress related. The most I've been is 3 pounds over goal since reaching it (Of course that would be TODAY, lol). But I know what to do and how to do now, thanks to SparkPeople!

I'm still wearing size 5 junior jeans and size 4 women's pants. But I'm still really bad at exercise!!!

August 2008: I've been pretty good over these past 2 years. I'm still wearing all the clothes that I bought when I lost my weight. Right now, I'm higher than I want to be at 130 pounds -- my personal "ideal" weight is 125 lowest to 128 highest so I have to get a little more aggressive with myself. Since my "stress outlet" is cooking & baking, it's not always easy! My daughters are off to college so they and their boyfriends (great to cook for!) aren't around as much...leaving more food for me to eat! But time to get back on the bandwagon. Don't want that weight *ever* creeping up on me again! (PLUS---I think i 'm finally hitting that peri-menopausal state. Wah!!)

My Goals:
I wanted to lose 15 pounds before summer in 2006 and thought 20 pounds would be GREAT. I haven''t been 125 pounds for 20 years so I never thought it could really happen at my age but I made it!! June 3 2006: 125 pounds!

Aug 2008: 130 lbs. It''s not throwing me over the edge, mind you, but I am getting more aggressive again.


My Program:
I'm just keeping track of calories. I know that I'm terrible at exercise; just hate hate hate it and I find it to be a DE-inspirer for me so I'm not committing myself to any exercise program. It''s a personality flaw, I know, but at least I know that about myself! I''ll derail if I say I''m going to commit to an exercise program because I just HATE it.

I''m from the Pittsburgh area. I''m the mother of 20-year-old triplet girls. work fulltime as a Nurse Manager. I'm recently divorced and dating is playing havoc with my weight! So I'm back to Sparkpeople, with 8 to 10 pounds to lose to keep myself where I'm comfortable.

I have 4 cats now that I don't have the husband, lol. Two kittens, one year-old cat and one 14-year old cat. Love my kitties!


Other Information:
I''ve been an avid reader all my life. I love to scrapbook when I have time. My favorite book is "The Physician" by Noah Gordon (historical fiction).

Cooking & baking are my passions! Makes it difficult at times! I love www.recipezaar.com where I'm ZeeCooks.
