Hi there, fellow Mama! I, too, have had my only really successful weight loss (and high energy) with LFRV. I, too, struggle with food addiction issues, and with cooking for my non-raw family members. (I draw the line at having animal products in the house, but I know that might not be an option for you.) I have now started going to Overeaters Anonymous, and it helps. I am eating high raw and losing weight again. If there's anything I can do to help encourage you, let me know! emoticon

Have you read "The Spark?" I'm reading it now and it has really helped me put some important stuff into perspective. Give it a try! emoticon

Hey Chica did you see this blog on the inner fat girl board?
The proper way to respond to a compliment - whether you believe it or not - is to repeat it in your head, say thank you, then repeat it in your head again. For instance, someone says, "You look great! Have you lost weight?"
Say to yourself, "I look great!" then outloud, say, "Yes, thanks." and again to yourself, "I look great!"
You really have to drill the positives into your brain, because that inner fat girl is there - probably with your mother's voice - telling you that you couldn't POSSIBLY look great, and this person is lying to you. Ignore that b*tch... she's just trying to sabotage you.
I named my inner fat girl, so that when I started hearing negative things, I'd just say, That's not *me* feeling that way, that's Bertha putting me down.. shut up, Bertha!
Haven't heard from her in a while now.... It sounds a little nuts, maybe, but it really allowed me to disassociate my "normal" self from that critical, defeated voice.
