Hello everyone.
I am here because I plan to develop a healthy way of eating that will enable me to lose weight (all 65 pounds of it!) and then keep it off! I also want to be a role model for my grandchildren and provide tasty, healthy food that will appeal to them.

I am married with three grown children. I have three delightful grandchildren (18 years, 15 years, and a 10 year old - two girls and a boy) who make me laugh and keep me up to date on the 'latest' news. They also make me feel like a celebrity whenever they see me or come to visit! They give great hugs!

Here is my thought for the day:

The secret of making something work in your lives is, first of all, the deep desire to make it work; then the faith and belief that it can work; then to hold that clear definite vision in your consciousness and see it working out step by step, without one doubt or disbelief.

Fitness Minutes: 77,592

My Goals:
To reach my goal weight of 125 pounds. Then keep it off.

Short term: To develop an exercise program I enjoy and can live with.

Long term goal: To have such healthy eating habits that I will automatically eat the food with portion and frequency control. Not spend all my time thinking or planning what to eat.




My Program:
Diet: Focus on Lean Protein, Whole Grains, Veggies, Fruit, and Dairy.

Exercise: 5 Days a Week for 20 min

Sleep: Get 7-9 hours of sleep daily.

Remain an active member of my Sparks Team.



Personal Information:
I live in Courtenay, BC. We decided to downsize and be mortgage free. This we did and are enjoying our patio home surrounded by a park with a river running nearby. We have wonderful neighbours, are five minutes walking time from the town, and 5 min driving time to our church.
