A journal of complete personal transformation and empowerment! I am blogging and maintaining this page without my identity showing very much because I am challenging my realities and want endless room for change and to not be boxed in by old definitions of 'me'....I am ready to GROW! {and shrink, LOL!} I am reading sparkpages and blogs for all your inspiration you all have been so kind to share, and am recording things I learn and sharing lots of my tracking and such, in hopes that I also can inspire others as we all work on our goals together!!

A year ago at the end of April, I pulled up roots of 15 years to fly over 1000 miles to a new Love, new career path and an entirely new life. It Rocked My World very hard in so many ways! I feel like I am just now getting my feet under me to start 'building' and as this Spring 'sprung' so did my ambitions, creativity and most of all, my happiness, confidence and motivation stir and awake. It has been a truly wondrous year and the best is yet to come!!

My Goals:
I am on a journey to transform myself through diet, exercise, and better self care.
My tracker shows my all time high weight going back to the stable weight I felt healthiest at...I have done some yoyo'ing in between but have been slow and steady losing for a bit now.
6-15-10 My Program has shaped up awesomely since 3-17, the goal is a steady and sensible but strict 2 pounds a week, with skin tight, daily keeping my attitude mostly positive and being very good to myself! Needs work still- sleep hours, water intake increased, need to track more!


My Program:
The Exercise-
Every Morning first thing: Ballet Barre
Gym M, W, F- 10 min mile cardio warmup, stretch out, full body Cybex Eagle+ FT 360 circuit, light resistance, adding reps as I can, Zumba classes, Dolphin Kick laps.
T, TH, SA, SU- Tracy Anderson Method Mat + BDC routines.
Home Equipment:Ballet Barre, 3 pound dumbbells, 3/4" mat, Swiss Ball, Zills and BD belts.
I will add 1x week Belly Dance Class in July and re-begin serious 2x week Ballet classes in the fall Semester of 10.
I am committed to dedicating a big block of time to exercise.

The Diet-
Sensible but controlled, I am creating it with research from Spark guidelines, low carb + WHAT WORKS.
Mimi's Plan: 1200 calories, 20-25 NET carbs, 32-56g fat, 60-127g protein
I am trying for as few fillers, additives and preservatives as possible by including as mumuch fresh food as possible. doing mindful eating, using a smaller plate, including many interesting herbs and spices as I can.

The Self-Care-
Nonfood rewards and treats at every 5 pound loss, exception, out to lunch at favie place to celebrate milestones!
Firming Creams on body 2 to 3 times per day, plus 1 dry brush, 2 massage sessions, IT'S WORKING!
Serious skincare routine for face, neck and hands.
Discussing feelings with my Sweetie!
Positive Attitude adjustment and more kind self-talk as many times as necessary,
tracking everything but not judging!,
blogging often, talking about both good and not so good,
taking before, during and after pix, measurements all along the way to post the whole journey on a website when I am at goal to inspire others!
