Body and Soul Healing After Pregnancy and Loss

I am from Canada and my husband is from Norway and we have been through a lot of travel, change and loss. After losing 3 babies through neonatal death and miscarriage in the past 3 years, I really need to treat my body well and also lose the weight I gained through these pregnancies. It wasn't a lot, but the extra pounds have put me into the overweight zone. I am also on the petite side -almost 5'5- and avocado shaped. So small amounts of weight gained or lost have an impact on my health. But ...

It wasn't a lot, but the extra pounds have put me into the overweight zone. I am also on the petite side -almost 5'5- and avocado shaped. So small amounts of weight gained or lost have an impact on my health. But more important than just losing weight is keeping my body healthy while dealing with loss as well as the stress of constant transitions from travelling. Unfortunately, had to go through another major move which has not been positive on my health. So, my goal is to rebuild my health gain strength and get back to a healthy weight range again before considering another pregnancy.

General Goals:
-Live a healthier lifestyle by making consistent healthy food choices and exercising regularly.
-Lose weight (about 30lbs) to be in the safe (normal) BMI range for my health.
-Learn to say "no" to food-pushers.
-Feel confident about making healthy choices instead of worrying about what others will think.
-Improve posture.
-Improve strength, stamina and flexibility.
-Improve emotions
-Feel more confident about how my body looks

Short-term goals:
-under 150 lbs
reward: hair or spa treatment

Physical fitness goals:
-do one complete push-up
-run for 20 minutes


My Program:
Walk 60min 5x per week.

Strength training 30min or more 3-4x per week.

Be more active in general.

Get outside as much as
possible.

Swing/ballroom when time permits

Hi there! thanks for your message on my sparkpage, sorry it was a while ago, I keep forgetting to log in here!. I too am living in Kristiansand (almost in the countryside, in Justvik) and also married to a Norwegian, what a small world :D
