Yodalover's Healthy Journey

I am nearing my 40th birthday in a couple years and i would love to be more healthy by then.

I had some success in the past with Weight Watchers, but then several health problems later and i'm back up to over 300 lbs. I don't sleep well. My hips hurt. My knees hurt. Clothes are hard to find that fit. I am generally uncomfortable all the time. I'm afraid to go anywhere because if i have to park a long way away will i even make it?

My goals are simple.

* Lose weight
* sleep better
* better control my non-gall-bladder issues
* start exercising so that i can do more things
* to buy clothes at stores in person instead of online

i know i'll never be in a swimsuit in public, and i'm not looking for that. For me, it's about my health most of all. I've seen the worst it can get and with a lot of hard work, it can only get better from here.

Starting Stats:

height: 5'3"
weight: 315 (guess because the scale wont' go that high)

week 1: 309 (-6) I lost weight... not sure how much!
Week2: 306 (-9)
Week3: 305 (-10)

failure is not an option. I won't be perfect in journaling and right now i'm not really exercising... but as long as I'm doing something in the positive direction, eventually i will see success!

My Goals:
Long term, is to lose a lot of weight and be healthier!

My Program:
I've done Weight Watchers in the past. I've also seen a nutritionist.

At this point, i know what i should be eating and it's just a matter of me getting myself and my husband on board with purchasing and preparing good-for-us foods and then tracking here on SP so i can stay within the suggested ranges.

I don't exercise right now, but i'm going to get a pedometer and work up to 10,000 steps a day.

Personal Information:
I'm From South Bend, Flat Rock and currently live in Indianapolis.

Married to Richard and we have 4 cats: Dusty, Max, Monday and Velvet

Other Information:
Dealing with several health issues:

* pcos
* thyroid problems
* asthma
* gall bladder issues

Hopefully i can lose weight and these won't be an issue any longer!
