I'm B-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-c-k!!!!!

I am back after being gone a year.
After being ill for a year and a half, I am ready to start again. I have bulled my way through bed bugs (courtesy of a neighbor giving away a bedroom set - set was free, bed bugs were extra!), DH (dermatitis herpetimorphus - yet another stress induced issue), a broken toe (how do you break a toe laterally in 3 places? Lose a battle with a couch leg while running after a dog with a chicken bone in its mouth), a broken ankle, and my insides (did you ...
I am back after being gone a year.
After being ill for a year and a half, I am ready to start again. I have bulled my way through bed bugs (courtesy of a neighbor giving away a bedroom set - set was free, bed bugs were extra!), DH (dermatitis herpetimorphus - yet another stress induced issue), a broken toe (how do you break a toe laterally in 3 places? Lose a battle with a couch leg while running after a dog with a chicken bone in its mouth), a broken ankle, and my insides (did you know we females have a vault in there??? Don't put in any valuables though, apparently it can collapse and allow everything to fall out) - bladder, bowel, intestines, urinary tract, and the infamous vault all fell out requiring surgery.
I have also in that year, moved twice, adopted 4 dogs, a cat, a cockatiel and a man (not sure why about that last one!)
Per my Dr via blood tests yesterday I have gained back up to 212lbs (I swore after the GBP I would never be over 200 again), and I am borderline diabetic so he put me on a 1200 calorie diabetic diet (like I have never been HERE before right?)
So.... I have started a grocery list for better foods for me, not the stuff he always eats, for the next time we go grocery shopping. I have started struggling to walk the paranoid/schitzophrenic/aggressive/alpha german shepherd each morning. I am not sure what is getting more of a workout = my legs or my arms and back trying to restrain the runaway brat!
And I have returned to the place where I know I can get the best information, ideas, encouragement and kudos for accomplishments!!

My Goals:
Short Term:
1. Lose 9.81 lbs within the 2010 Winter Challenge.
2. Walk every day, working from 1 mile per day up to 6 miles per day by March.
3. Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude and share that with all sparklers!
4. Adhere to the dietary guideline my doctor and dietician have given me.
Long Term:
1. Lose to 130lbs with gain back to 150lbs and maintain that weight.
2. Have excess skin removed in 2015.
3. Maintain the healthy changes that I have adopted as life changes - not temporary adaptations.

My Program:
Due to RGB, I am following my Dr's instructions. The only issue I am having is maintaining enough protein and am working on the dietary changes he issued in order to correct that. I also use my bike daily, and frequently do the "walk away the commercials" at a brisk pace through my house, out the door, down the side of the building and back.

Other Information:
Love to sew, craft, any type of needlework. Love animals of all kinds - raised by a game warden will do that to ya! Love to play cards and board games.

Wow, Tammy, you have done well since those Spirited Underdog days of last year! I am so impressed! Keep it up, girl, you're doin' fine!
