My Goals:
Short Term:
1. Lose 9.81 lbs within the 2010 Winter Challenge.
2. Walk every day, working from 1 mile per day up to 6 miles per day by March.
3. Maintain a positive and encouraging attitude and share that with all sparklers!
4. Adhere to the dietary guideline my doctor and dietician have given me.
Long Term:
1. Lose to 130lbs with gain back to 150lbs and maintain that weight.
2. Have excess skin removed in 2015.
3. Maintain the healthy changes that I have adopted as life changes - not temporary adaptations.

My Program:
Due to RGB, I am following my Dr's instructions. The only issue I am having is maintaining enough protein and am working on the dietary changes he issued in order to correct that. I also use my bike daily, and frequently do the "walk away the commercials" at a brisk pace through my house, out the door, down the side of the building and back.

Other Information:
Love to sew, craft, any type of needlework. Love animals of all kinds - raised by a game warden will do that to ya! Love to play cards and board games.

I'm glad to hear that the injuries were minor. Don't feel like you are letting your teammates down by cutting back your activities. We want all Dawgies to be healthy first and foremost!

Thank you all for the well wishes! Although I am sporting a veritable rainbow of interesting colors on my hands, knees, feet and left side, we are fairly certain it is merely scrapes, bumps bruises and a sprained, ankle, dislocated shoulder (which I popped back in) and broken thumb and toe. Nothing catastrophic - just annoying that I had a new routine set up and now I cannot follow it! But I am filling in with chair and floor exercises (B-O-R-I-N-GGGGG!) I am certain I will be back in business full time next week, and in the interum I am sorry that I won't be putting in the exercise time that I usually do. emoticon emoticon

Ouch! I hope you feel back to normal soon after that accident! Be careful - the worst soreness usually happens two days after the actual incident! Rest please!
