I'm a 44 yr old mother of teenage/grown boys who's been divorced for 10 years. In a healthy loving relationship with the man of by dreams. It's time to make sure that I come first now. Need to take care of me. I've been overweight my entire life and it's time for a change. One step and one day at time! The thought of one day getting below 200 brings a tear to my eye. I haven't been there in 20 years. 2012 is going to be a fabulous year!

My Goals:
My overall goal is to get fit and healthy.

Getting there is going to involve a number of smaller goals. I didn't get to 262 lbs overnight and know that I won't be at a healthy weight overnight.

1st step goal - get to 240 by mid April - Cruise time!

How do I accomplish this?

1. Track my food and excerise and stay within my range.

2. Drink at least 8 glass of water every day

3. MOVE! Use the new elypictical that I just bought after the new year

My Program:
It's a lifestyle change right? I can't just do a complete 180, so I need to start with small steps. The biggest for me right now is tracking what I eat, ensuring I drink more water and start exercising. I'm not going crazy with a commitment to 5 days a week. I am going to commit to excercising at least 3 times per week. I'm also doing some small things like the 6 minute video's from sparkpeople and even just taking 5 minutes in my office during the day to do lunges and squats.
