My Transformation

WOOHOOO Ran my first race, it was great. I ran the 4 miles with no problems at all. My time was 52 minutes. Best part was I felt normal, I didnt feel like an outsider. :)

I am currently 30 pounds from my goal weight. For now I am focusing on the next 20, then i will re evaluate. Im also working hard on my running. never ever in my life did I think I would be calling myself a runner, just check out my before picture !! SHE ...

Hola !

I was very overweight for about 15 years. It just got so out of control. I have never been fit or healthy.

I have lost 130 pounds. It has been an awesome journey.
I have learned so much and look forward to the future.

I have made new goals for 2008. I need to lose the rest. which is 38 more pounds, but I have set smaller goals for now, like 20 first.

I also want to run in a race... wow who said that !!

So I offer this to you all. YOU CAN DO IT. ya just have to want it bad enough. Commitment is hard but so rewarding....

I wish you all luck in the future... check on me and my goals.

My Goals:
1. Drop 20 more pounds by.

2. Work on my running. Get up to 6 miles in 1 run, Im at 5 right now. 4/30/08 DID IT !

3. Run in a race (May 11th) DONE !!!

4. Weights !!! Get 2 sessions in a week.

My Program:
I count my calories, I try for 1500 a day.

I also work out every day. 6 days a week. I run 3-4 days, cross train the others.

Lots of research reading and work !!


Other Information:
I am a mom of 3. I work part time so I can spend lots of time with my family. I love The Godfather movies!
Im an 80s girl so I love my bad 80s music.
