Hello,

I have been trying to loose weight for some time now. I have had some success but not a lot. I am restarting yet again.

I am now juicing and trying out the Paleo lifestyle. I also have a fit bit that is my constant companion! :)

My Goals:

My Program:
I want to stay within my calorie intake limit.

I want to do strength exercises 4 to 5 times a week. Cardio I am still working on getting in 3 to 4 days a week.

I want to do 10k a day!

Personal Information:
I love industrial metal.... Rock N Roll..... Oldies..... Classical.... Punk.... you name it and there is at least one song from that genre that I like.

I would love to have property one day.... I dream of a garden and the future grandkids running in the fields.... Almost like a Norman Rockwell painting.

Hope things are going well for you...am back and trying to get back on track. Seems each time is a little bit harder...which means i need to stick to it before gets harder yet. went to gym Monday and Tues...missed today but back tomorrow. Working for the next month so will have to find way to work in before or after. Only doing mile on the elliptical but it is movement....i am way to sedentary i realize that just it is a hard habit to break. One day at time...half day if need be. I have to keep telling myself that. Hoping to find more life in the downriver group...searching the support we all need...to give and get. Good to see you are still here :)

where do you go in the UP? we go up every summer, though not that retired my husband spends more time there then i do....he goes to visit mom and help out with things she might need. she will be 95 this month, so wants to spend as much time as able with her.

Hope you are doing well....am back and this time planning to stay. i have started losing again....got to under 300 yeaaaaaa me lol and joined the planet fitness gym. so far just going in doing mile on the elliptical but it is moving and its a start. am loving it...and once comfortable will have them show me around to more machines. One day at a time.

i did get the notice about the downtown walk ....would love to be there but will be out of town that weekend. Heading to the UP....brrrr think for sure would prefer to be here and joing you there lol hoping will not be to much snow up there this time.

Nice to see there is still a "spark"in the Downriver team....I'm awaiting knee surgery so you won't see any exercise, 5k goals from me. Just doing the Living Low Carb lowdown for now....Seems to be working.....

ust curious if anyone is still around from the downriver group....the past year was not a good one, so looking ahead to a new and better year. Hope to be here more, and get more involved and make contact here with some from the area . Happy New Year! emoticon emoticon emoticon
