Gutsy Grandma

I am working with Spark People because I want to be healthier. My grandaughter is 7 years old and I want to enjoy her growing up as well as any other grandchildren that we may be blessed with in the future. I chose Gutsy Grandma as my title because I got plenty to loose, but I also think that choosing to join took some courage too.

Hey Lisa! So far (Day 2) I'm liking it a lot. The treadmill is great. We have done....No I have done 3 miles in 60 minutes on it and then when we are done there we go walk Lakebottom (as a cooldown). This one is on Auburn Ave. and you can get to Lakebottom in about 10 min. or less depending on traffic. DH goes back to work Monday so I will see how I am going to like it alone. But its not very crowded there. The manager said the peak hours are 5 to 7. I won't be there at that time. The thing DH loves is there is one 4.5 miles from the motel he stays in in Trussville AL. We will be taking a car up there for him sometime this week.

Lisa,

I know how hard it is to get and stay on track but I know you can do it. One day at a time. Take care and enjoy the zoo today.

Cathy

Happy Monday!! Another month is drawing to a close... I hope you are seeing progress on your journey...

Don't forget that the scale doesn't always tell the whole story. Have you measured yourself lately???

You may just be amazed at what you discover!

We have 29 days until Christmas to stay on track with food choices, exercise, and water. Let's start a streak of eating correctly for the next 29 days.
