The Journey after pregnancy

Had a bouncing baby girl on November 20th and now two months later I've started my journey back to a lean healthy me. I'll be posting a monthly picture of my weight loss to help keep me motivated. As a full time student and mom I don't have much time for exercise but will be working on my eating habits mostly here in the beginning. My goal is to get to a bikini worthy body by Christmas and to learn enough to make sensible health choices after I've attained my goal and to maintain that body. ...

Daily: Drink water and keep the calorie intake to less than 2,000
Weekly: do at least 2 hours of working out
Monthly: have a loss of 3 or more pounds
Within a year: weight 145lbs
within 2 years: participate and finish some marathon

Welcome! If you need a shoulder, a friend or a virtual coffee at some point, drop by and say hello! I've been on SP for just over four months now and am amazed at the absolutely incredible amount of support I've received. This is a fabulous site and you will be astounded at what you get out of it if you give it your all. From recent experiences I can absolutely say that there is no mountain too high to get over, no hole too deep to get out of. And cliches aside, you are truly capable of anything!
