Keep Up The Attitude and Motivation :)
Hi, My name is Mickey. I'm a Night shift working nurse in ICU and trying to fit in sleep, eating properly and exercise in between working 7p-7a shifts is real tough, so I'm hoping that this site will give me the motivation I need to drop some weight and get in better shape again. By the way, Teddy is my beloved Shih Tzu puppy who is at my side continuously when I'm at home, he's a real companion. I'm married with 2 great children, teens, one in college already and need to focus on myself a little to accomplish my goals with this program. Glad to be here, looking forward to the adventure. 9/5/08 OK, finally figured out where to put the weigh in's. Though I haven't lost much weight (which fluctuates daily), I know cause I've been doing more work with strength training using free weights that building muscle weighs more than fat...and I'm eating better, and feeling alot better and losing inches and can feel my waist, abs, thighs and legs tightening up, so I'm happy. Just going to have to increase the cardio some more. Loving the info and support I'm getting on this site!!!!! Thanks to Everyone! 9/25/08 Loving this site more and more. Feeling soooo much better eating right and exercising to get healthier. Teddy is loving the longer walk/rides, too!

My Goals:
My main goal is to stay motivated to increase my level of exercise and fitness, to tighten up and lose inches. Along with adopting more nutritious eating habits, the weight loss would fit right in!
My Program:
I am making a effort to increase my physical activity each day and to include an exercise and/or Cardio workout to each day as my schedule allows. I am changing to a much more nutritious diet and focusing on increasing intake of fruits and vegetables and fiber.
Personal Information:
I've been a Registered Nurse for 21 years, working ER and Intensive Care on 7p-7a nightshift. I'm married with 2 teenage children, one dog and 2 cats. We currently live in Florida.
