Greg Home December 30. I still do so miss him and know there will always be days that it just does not seem like he is gone.

Love my knitting group - such a lively, fun group. We meet 2 or 3 times a week and knit and chat away!! Right now am knitting a prayer shawl for a friend who has cancer and a scarf for me, I like beading too but have not done any for a while. We do have a nice bead shop here in Pendleton - need to stop in there and get inspired.

Elaine and i have been meeting for almost 2 years now - at the Donut Shop. We have done a study of the book of Roman and have now started a study of Revelation. We have a good study outline and are excited about what God is going to teach us.

I have discovered that just logging into SparkPeople every day, reading all the inspiring blogs, and visiting the teams i belong to is not going to take off all this extra weight i continue to carry - i am going to have to actually start following all the good encouraging suggestions and do have a plan of my own.

I live in Pendleton, Oregon - in the NE corner of the state - famous for the Pendleton Roundup in September - when the town double in size. Lots of activities: the rodeo, Happy Canyon (the Indian pageant), 2 big parades, and booths all over town that have goodies to eat, beautiful articles to purchase.

Hi Barb, glad you enjoyed the egg photos, it was a lovely exhibition.

I didn't get much needlework done as the pain in my arms stops me after so long but I keep trying as I'm trying to get the samplers finished before the christening in september, not sure if I'll manage it but Leah knows they'll get done eventually even if not for the actual day.
I've another appointment with a specialist at the hospital on the 27th as they now say I've got tendonitis and it's in both arms! It's ok most of the time, more an ache than a pain now but every now and then it jumps up and bites back...lol...I'd like it cleared up if I can. I already have different exercises to do but it's going to be a long, slow process.

The weightloss seems to be going very well just lately, a total of 6 stones 7 lbs so far and I'm pretty determined to get more off and keep it off. I should be somewhere near goal for the christening but I'm not putting myself under any pressure to get there as it doesn't work and I just want to keep going steadily forward if I can.

I hope you're managing to stick to your water increases, it's definitely good for you and fills you up too so you're not so hungry.

Have a lovely day emoticon emoticon

Hi Barb, thanks for the goodie, just what I need after having my hands in water.
I'm afraid I haven't done too much to help, my arm is still very tender and DH won't let me do too much but I've enjoyed what I've been allowed to do. We've finished the pond lining and re-filled it with water and fish and tomorrow we're going to re-line the waterfall and then DH will fit the new pump he got for Christmas, he's been waiting for the cherry trees to lose their blossoms before he's done it as they all seem to let their petal fall in the water.
It's May Bank Holiday here so it's a long week-end, we're hoping to get out for a ride in the afternoon and the weather seem set to stay dry. We visited with family yesterday, it was so good to see them all.

Hope you're having a good week-end emoticon
