And, just where did January go?? I feel like I am always a month behind. But, my excuse is that I am now officially "old" - so am moving a bit slower.
No birthdays to celebrate this month. My father-in-law's birthday was the 19th and my oldest son was born the 15th. They are both gone now - but will be so remembered!!
Was planning to get back to the club - but have been snowed in most of the time so far this year. When there is snow on the grown - I hibernate!! My neighbors do get out - but I "keep the home fires burning"!!
Will be sewing on a quilt for my son and have material for another table runner for my daughter.
Also, want to get a better pedometer - so I can track steps more accurately. Will be looking to see what I can find that I can afford.
Retired and living in Pendleton. Miss my sister who lived in Medford, our home town. But, love having my #2 son here and #3 son now in Tacoma WA, going to school full time and working full time. Also, my younger daughter is here, and older daughter, Vicki, lives in Salem.

Hi Barb and good morning,
Thank you so much for the "goodie". I can really use the gift card for purchasing craft supplies. I have a favorite shop here in town that I like to go to. I haven't really done much online yet. My sister has a couple of good shops that she goes to online. I will check them out and your recommendation too.
I hope that you are not too inundated with the recent winter storm. We got about a foot of snow in town !! The temperatures around here are in the mid to high 20's but that East Wind we get coming off the Gorge is keeping the temperatures down and makes for a windchill factor that's much lower than the actual temperature. Right now it is 24 out and with the wind chill factor it feels like 20. I'm sure that we will have ice over and under the snow, so driving conditions are slick. The kids are loving this break from school, but I fear they will be going to school until July to make up for the snow days we've had this year.
Make your day GREAT !! You absolutely ROCK !! See you on the threads !! Take care and God bless, Deb

Good morning Barb,
Hope you're well and the snow's disappeared, we've got it forecast to arrive tomorrow but l'm hoping it doesn't!
Met with the doctor for a liver medication review this morning, he's pleased with me and to be fair, l do feel better than l have in a long while...just need to get walking again, l can't go far before l seize up...doc says it's left over from the stroke and will get better with time.
l went to Wl last night for the first time in five months and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was so nice to get back into village life again.
l'm babysitting Joseph tomorrow and Friday, really looking forward to it, he's such good company.
Have a lovely day

Getting supplies is a wise thing to do!! We are having snow and freezing rain, which translates into ice around here. There will be more snow showers this morning and that will transition into freezing rain this afternoon. It is 27 degrees here today, so look out for at least two days of snow, if you are in a snow zone. We will warm up to 40 a couple of days next week, so our snow will be gone soon. I hope that you are ready for another deluge in a couple of days. These storms keep coming in cycles and are just not letting up. Take care , stay warm and safe, God bless, Deb
