APRIL - MAY 2015

I decided that this is my year - well, am getting off to a slow start - but have kept going.

This month (April) i started another challenge and am so determined to complete. One of the posters on my Goal Board Check-In is "Commit and Conquer" so am reminded every morning of my commitment. Am getting to the club most every day - and am getting outside - mostly just cleaning up the flowerbeds at this point.

I decided that this is my year - well, am getting off to a slow start - but have kept going.

Am getting to the club most every day - and am getting outside - mostly just cleaning up the flowerbeds at this point.

In MAY, my goal is to continue with the 30 day challenge I am doing and perhaps picking up another one when the 30 days ends. And, am looking more at my diet. I am not much of a cook and really do not enjoy it much, but want to begin planning a weekly menu and trying a new recipe each week. Will see how that goes. I have found so great recipes here on SparkPeople that I think i will be trying.

My Goals:
APRIL - MAY 2015

My goal for this month has been to just do my stretches every morning, take my meds regularly and enjoy my knitting.

My Program:
PROGRAM FOR APRIL - MAY:

1. Get to the club most every day.
2. Take meds every day and track.
3. And, can't leave off my knitting!!

Personal Information:
Retired and living in Pendleton. Miss my sister who lived in Medford, our home town. But, love having my #2 son here and #3 in Vancouver, just a couple hundred miles down the road! Also, my younger daughter is here, and Vicki lives in Salem.

Other Information:
Looks like we are going to have a dry summer - not much snow in the mountains. But, God is still on His Throne and is still in control.

Hi Barb, it's been a while since l popped by, hope you're well.
l've had a sinus infection which made my head feel all fuzzy but l'm almost better now.

The weather has been so cold so l haven't done much walking this week as it made my sinuses hurt, today it's predicted to snow but it's actually very nice at the moment, sunny but accompanied by a blustery cold wind.
l did get out yesterday with DH, we just went into the harbour area of town...lucky we did really as it absolutely poured down just after we got there, it was torrential and lasted all day and most of last night.

Love your new background...lol...
Have a good day emoticon

Good morning Barb, seems a while since l popped by, l do hope you're well.
Everyone is at this end for a change! emoticon

Our weather has been, and still is, atrocious for days now. lt's been so slippery with ice that l haven't ventured out very much. Today is a little better in that it's turned to rain, a lot better if, of course, it doesn't freeze tonight. The temperature is just 1 degree so things are slowly starting to improve though the weathermen have forecast more snow!
The wind has constantly been strong and very cold from the north but today it seems to have eased just a little.
There was an almighty bang, sounded like an explosion, in the middle of the night which woke half the population up. lt was quite scary not knowing what it was. Turns out it was a weather phenomenom called thundersnow which we'd never heard of and certainly wouldn't like to hear again!
l 'googled' it and it's quite rare!

Hope you have a wonderful day, are you meeting Elaine? l know how much you enjoy that emoticon

Thank you for the comment. Not to worry, I'm on the mend. I actually worked out for 1.5 hours today.
Pam emoticon
