Hello everyone! My name is Jessica but I go by Jessie or Jess, sometimes the occasional "Hey you!' as well! ;) I'm 23 years young and I've been overweight the majority of my life. As soon as my mom purchased our first computer growing up, my life completely changed - I was glued to that computer screen and basically stopped playing outside! I'm here to change that!

My Goals:
My long term goals:

1.) Lose 127 lbs
2.) Learn to eat healthier.
3.) Exercise daily.
4.) Inspire others to lose weight.
5.) Run a 5k!

My short term goals:

1.) Quit drinking pop!
2.) Drink more water!
3.) Learn portion control.
4.) Keep with my exercise regimen.
5.) Learn that it is not a 'diet' but a life style change!


My Program:
I'm currently taking baby steps in order to help me reach my goal! The first few baby steps I'm doing right now, are:

1.) Quitting pop.
2.) Drinking more water.
3.) Begin to exercise.

I've always drank nothing but pop, never drank water, and been a couch potato. I figure those were going to be my first three baby steps to get me going!

Personal Information:
I'm from a small town of about 30k people in East Central, Illinois! I'm the youngest of five - I've got three sisters and one brother.

Currently, my fiance and I live with my sister and her family (her husband and three active little boys) because we've hit a hard time financially. I don't have any children (yet) but I pray that it will happen sometime in the near future.

Hi--thanks for stopping by to check on me! I have lost 1 more lb since we chatted on 9/15. I'm still walking at least 5K steps a day--faster and faster, cuz we got a new puppy!--and still eating well. I think I have to add strength training to speed up the transformation.

Congrats on finishing the Couch25K!!

Hi, I added you as a friend as I would like to have some motivation from people my age... I am 25 years old and I just got married. I want someone to motivate me and give me courage when I fall off the wagon...hope we will manage to be good friends and enjoy the journey together
