Hi,

My name is Xhena and I have decided to make Sparkpeople part of my strategy for becoming successful in acheiving a healthy and fit lifestyle. As a teen I managed my weight within 5 or so lbs but now in my early 40's and I have gained and re-lost significant amounts of weight over the last 6 years of my life. It's time to turn the page acheive success...like the saying goes, "Fall down 99 times, Stand up 100"...

Personal Information:

Mom of two wonderful grown children... My son is in his 3rd year of university and my daughter will be completing her last year of highschool

Family pets include an Alaskan Malamute and two cats

Other Information:
I love to paint - oils, acrylics, watercolours. I am happiest when I am mountainbiking on nature trails or caneoing in the wilderness. I struggle to keep a work/life balance and not to allow work to consume me..I am focusing on an improved work life balance, healthier eating, more activity and rebuilding relationships with my loved ones that simply have not been maintained due to work/life balance issue.
