My Life Today

For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin - real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way. Something to be got through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. ~Fr. Alfred D'Souza

My Goals:
"The philosophy of mine earth can be summed up as this: Sunshine creates happiness, and I create myself. Nights are long and life is predominantly good. Wind is refreshing. Tea is wisdom. Do the best you can, and be good to yourself so that you can above all be good to others." ~Jessi Lane Adams

My Program:
I will lose my last 10 pounds by eating 5 fruits and veggies - drinking 8+ cups of water - exercising 15+ minutes - and recording 3+ things I'm grateful for each & every day.

Personal Information:
I'm proud to live in Madison, Wisconsin. My husband is my one-and-only, and we want to spend many many healthy years together. Our family is my joy, my daughter, two sons, and especially my three grandchildren. I love to read for enjoyment though working-out is beginning to edge ahead of that!

Other Information:
The miracle is not to fly in the air, or to walk on the water, but to walk on the earth. ~Chinese Proverb

Human life is purely a matter of deciding what's important to you. ~Anonymous

Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be. ~Grandma Moses

Happy Valentines Day! Enjoy the day with the ones you love. This is the time of year to spread some joy and love to those you care about and that's why I'm here. I'm glad to have you in my life. Remember dark chocolate is good for you, but not lots of it.

"The greatest gift you can give others is your best you—your healthiest you." (Joseph J. Sweere)

This week change one unhealthy act you do a lot into a healthy one. If you manage to do that each week you will be able to make the changes you want in your life permanent. Here's to a great week with lots of success.

Hey there! I hope things are starting off on the right foot with you this year. I thought I'd drop in and see how it's going for you and send you some motivation for this coming week. I've being reading "Simple Abundance -- Daybook of Comfort and Joy" by Sarah Ban Breathnach and have been blogging each day about it. I'm going to take this year to find my true authentic self and be happy where I'm at each day. Here's some inspiration for you.

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." (Robert Brault)

Take time to enjoy something simple this weekend! Have a good one!
