-get to my goal by my wedding date!!!
-exercise 5x a week, strength train 2-3x per week
-learn to belly dance
-do my best at my job, and support my family
I walk a lot! without a car, and getting around mostly by bus, it's definitely my best option since I don't have time to go to the gym.
Also, I enjoy cooking, and serving up healthy versions of my favorite foods.
My weight's been a yo-yo over the years, but I've noticed a trend: I started at 280 lbs, lost down to 230, then bounced up to 260. Starting over from there I lost down to 220, but bounced back up to 240. When 240 lbs no longer felt good, I started again. I got down to 197 lbs, under 200lbs for the first time in nearly 15 years! That felt awesome!!! I bounced back up again, but this time I've topped out at 220. I am restarting with the knowledge that I am always headed in the right direction, and learning to maintain along the way. I didn't get to 280 lbs overnight, and I'm not gonna lose it that way. I'm in for the long haul.
