This time I will be realistic and I will succeed!

This is my 5th time to gain/loose weight. I am a binge eater and my binges will last anywhere from one week to 6 months. No matter how much success I have had in the past (loosing anywhere from 30 to 80 pounds at a time) when a binge comes on nothing seems to stop it. I have done Jenny Craig and had great success but it was too expensive, I have done a personal trainer and had great success but then i had a child and it was too expensive and too much time, the last thing I did was weight ...
This is my 5th time to gain/loose weight. I am a binge eater and my binges will last anywhere from one week to 6 months. No matter how much success I have had in the past (loosing anywhere from 30 to 80 pounds at a time) when a binge comes on nothing seems to stop it. I have done Jenny Craig and had great success but it was too expensive, I have done a personal trainer and had great success but then i had a child and it was too expensive and too much time, the last thing I did was weight watchers and that was great but after 2 years I burned out, took a break and gained all the weight back. So I am now trying this after reading about it in people magazine. I think my problem has been that I am always secretly hoping to get back to my high school weight of 130. But I always lie to myself and set my goal at 150 and then everytime I get around 170-180 pounds and can see the end of the tunnel I start binging and gain it all back plus some. Looking back at pictures I realize that part of the problem is that I am happy at 180-190 lbs. I like myself at that weight. I like the way I look and I like the clothes I have to choose from. So this time I am just shooting for that. Unfortunatly since I have let myself get all the way up to 240 this time (from 180 after a 9 month binge period) it will mean that I still have 50 pounds to loose. But I am hoping that if I can finally be okay with that weight that I will be able to reach it and maintain it. This time I am determined it will stick.

Thank you for the links to your work! I thought the Christmas cards were quite cute and funny, and all those murals looked like so much fun to create! I couldn't get into the dropshots page, though, because it said I needed a guest password.
How's school so far? I'm liking it, not least of all because I'm so busy I can't really overeat unless I really really try to. We're working without a contract, which makes the school atmosphere very tense...I hope everyone is still doing their best with the kids, but yuck...issues, issues, issues, and I'm only in my 3rd year, so it's even stranger for me and other young teachers (about half the staff, unfortunately), because there's a feeling of needing to be careful...but at least the kids are fun! They really are the best part of the job (even counting the summer break!).

Congratulations on your new classroom!! Most excellent! I would love a classroom...but instead I think I have 5 this year. Oh, well...I've done it before. I hope you post some pictures of your floor...I'd love to see your talent in action!

Good move going back to Weight Watchers. I hope they give you good motivation and support. I'm trying to motivate myself by training for the Sea Gull Century, in which I will ride 100 kilometers on bike in one day. It's held in Salisbury, MD, and there is also a 100 mile ride which my boyfriend did last year, but I'll be happy this year with the approx. 65 miles I'm training for. So far I have about 16 miles under my belt, which helped pull me down from my highest recorded(acknowledged) weight ever. Sorry we shared the biggest ever moment this summer, but hopefully our new moves pay off!
