I started with SP on November 27, 2007. At that time I thought 142 was a reasonable goal. Then I found out that according to my BMI I would still be overweight. After debating with myself for a month, I have revised my goal weight to the very top of my healthy BMI range.
My story.... Single after 20 years of marriage and three children. He had a midlife crisis, bought a corvette, got a girlfirend and I got out. Found out in the first couple of years of singledom, that dating is difficult and toads can masquerade as princes for only so long.
With the stress around the divorce, work, attempting to date and everthing else I did a serious amount of emotional eating and gained 30 pounds (on an already overweight body).
No excuses, if I want to do the traveling and attain work goals I need to be in a healthy weight range. I also need to stop using food as a crutch.
Hmm update... different job, working remotely, high stress, high buffet style meals, little exercise and well starting once again!
The doctor telling me my liver was compromised from eating poorly was a real incentive to get back at this!
