Writingbear: gaining weight again
I've gained again. I've not been keeping up with what i'm eating, or going to the gym on a regular basis. So I've gained. There is no surprise there. I am thinking that my life will be a continuous struggle with the weight. After I watched the lecture by Dr Lustig called : Sugar The Bitter Truth, I've decided to cut out sugar out of my diet. I've done this before and it was successful. After two weeks I'm feeling better, and I think I'll keep it up. But I'm still counting ...
But I'm still counting calories to make sure I don't go over too much. but I do not count veggies and fruit. If you would like to see the lecture, go to youtube and search "sugar the bitter truth." Antigone and I have finished the cross country bicycle tour. We passed through eight states as we bicycled from Chicago to San Fran! We are now writing her memoirs of the trip and it is going well. We have a few reasons for doing the adventure. For Antigone, she brought awareness to Basset rescues across the nation. For me, I’m brought awareness to The Out of Darkness Overnight. The walk a thon supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The two causes are related. Antigone was adopted from a basset rescue, and she is the reason that I was able to fight suicidal thoughts successfully. So we think that crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, where so many have lost their lives to suicide, will be a better ending to our bike tour. If you would like more information on the suicide prevention walk go to: www.theovernight.org www.afsp.org If you would like to follow us on our adventure go to www.antigonebasset.blogspot.com Antigone has a fan page on facebook Please "like" it and share with your friends. My Program:
I'm bicycling across the coutnry, I'm not sure I have a program right now. I need to eat enough to make me go, but not too much. I've stopped tracking food, cause I don't always remember. But when the adventure is over, I'll get back to the following: I track food, honestly. I track workouts, honestly. Being honest with myself is the best program!
