Personal Information:
SP member since Dec 2011, but only started to try to lose weight since Jan 2012 @189#. I made it as low as 163#. Then maintained @168-173# for a year before giving up. Since then my highest (ever) weight has been 225#.

I'm hypothyroid, but currently off of thyroid meds and on iodine protocol under MD supervision (since May 2015). I felt pretty great, but TSH was 88.78. Back on Levothyroxine since 9/15/15. First time with TSH normal: 5/12/16.

I am currently 5' 9.5" tall and 27 years old. I work a busy, high-stress job. Some days, I'm certain it'll be the death of me, lol. But I love helping others heal.

If you got to know me, you'd see that I'm a "little" weird and it works for me. I make social faux pas often and have trouble communicating when dealing with strong or conflicting emotions. I'm temperamental and I cuss. When I can, I run from conflict to give myself time to figure out my emotions...when I can't, I tend to burn bridges fast.

Other Information:
I'm definitely an introvert, and a lot of things drain my emotion-battery. I'm still figuring out what recharges it.

Mostly my motto could be "que será, será." On busy, bad days it's, "the sky is falling and this isn't going to end well."

The most valuable thing I've re-learned on SP is that it is ok to be me, ok to love me as I am, and ok to not feel guilty when some people can only love the idea of me - still working on the last one, because let's face it...it hurts when someone you care for only loves parts of you. And you can't drop family...unless they are complete @$$3$.

P.S. Sometimes I act extra weird or goofy or ask random questions because it's the best way I've found to see a person's tolerance level. My friends tend to have a high tolerance level. Plus, acting silly in public is fun sometimes - reliving childhood, the good parts.

And I have a somewhat passable working knowledge of two other languages.
