Starting ALL over again at 277lbs.
I quit smoking back in April and gained weight from it. Not to mention I have had a pretty stressful couple of years (yes, years), and eat when I am stressed out (something I'm now trying to curb).

I am currently 267lbs after 7 weeks of working out and eating better.

My boyfriend is helping me along and giving me some great advice (he's a skinny little thing into mountain climbing and running).

My LTR is to get to a BMI of 25 or less. Currently it's in the mid 40s and that's just WRONG.

That means another 110lbs or so to lose before I get there. I am losing right now at a rate of about 1.4lbs / week. There's a LONG road ahead of me, but I truly believe I can do it!

My Goals:
Short term 1: 260
Short term 2: 240
Short term 3: 220
Short term 4: 200


My Program:
160+ minutes of cardio per week, plus several weight training routines for lower body, upper body, and core.

Elliptical and Treadmill at the gym, and plain ol' outdoor walking when the weather is good.

Eating between 1650-2000calories per day (sometimes a bit more or less depending on my level of exertion throughout the day)

My name's Sara. I'm 26 years old, living in eastern MA, and have a Master's degree in Modern European History. Email is wreath_of_barbs@msn.com :) I've got some medical problems that make it very hard to lose weight including bipolar disorder, sleep apnea, and asthma, but I am trying to work through these illnesses and create a better me. I spend the majority of my time in the realms of academia, where I feel most comfortable with myself and others. I am pursuing a career in Holocaust & Genocide studies with the aim of teaching at the University level. I am a pacifist and peace advocate, and truly believe that the world CAN be changed one person at a time. I am also an Atheist, which makes my sense of morality especially rare (or atleast that's what I'm told!). I am all-accepting and love to learn about new cultures and lifestyles as well as meet new people.

    get you some coconut oil pills from the healt food store and kelp them both help ur thyroide funtion in ur neck.and also speeds up ur metolism.try and you will see im right with a healthy diet which u r in the right dirtion.you can tell after taking those pills i lost 15 pounds the first month and 10 the next and so on .give it a try.i hope to hear from you soon
