I began losing weight on my own. Occasionally I've also tried various diet clubs. I am presently calorie counting and watching my fat intake.
I don't officially 'exercise'. But I do walk my dog twice a day. And I love fixing up the house... everything from plastering to garden work. Plenty of exercise opportunities there!
My ultimate goal is to reach 160lbs and finally sit in the "Healthy" section of the weight table.
You're welcome! ...I had thought of you, kind of, today...I was driving on a road where these women were walking their dogs (without leashes) and they were kind of dawdling about...I'd slowed down early on to allow them to move to the side of the road...they didn't..they kept plodding along, till one of their dogs turned around and came running towards my car and I had to hit the brake fast, sending the dust flying. They shot me nasty looks and gestures....but I resisted the urge to freak out on them. (I dunno if you read my blogs today, but I was having a BAD attitude day.. super bad...and I reallllly wanted to take it out on someone) Quite frankly - I'd have probably just spouted off about something kind of low and it wouldn't have accomplished much for me, or for them. I thought about how things affected you when they were just mean comments said to you and I thought I should just keep my thoughts to myself. I didn't need to ruin these women....and I also thought of how you DID accomplish something with more meaningful, though angry, comments. :) And if I could have done that, it would have been awesome. Oh well! ;) And as for my name, I love the name Aurelia, too.. Its not actually my real name. It was one I chose for Latin class in high school, but I loooove it. :) Thanks for the compliment!!
Glad to see you're blogging again. Looks like we're both having a dry spell, only you've maintained your loss... that's a real accomplishment. It takes as much or more motivation/work/commitment to keep it off as lose it. Stay focused & don't give up hope - that mojo will kick in.
