I've started with the basics...
no more soda's
eat more fruits & veggies
exercise at least 30 minutes a day
track my foods

Yes, let's continue to encourage one another to eat healthy and walk, walk, walk while healing after our surgeries. I just hope the weather cooperates soon so I can walk outdoors. That is so much more motivating for me! That, and the trip planned for the end of March. I'll have about 4 weeks to heal before I leave ~ may have to have help with my suitcase, but other than that the walking on the trip will be good for me. OMG, I just read your blog about you needing surgery. Talk about a parallel spark friend! I too gained back about 25 of my 50 pounds lost, and have to have surgery to repair a hernia within the next 2 weeks. And just when I was on a roll again with my fitness and eating healthier. I've been 'off' with my eating ever since I got my diagnosis last Friday, and am not able to do any exercise but walking. That is even out at this point due to the tummy pain I'm having. I'm just so uncomfortable. I have an appointment on Monday with a surgeon so hopefully I can schedule the surgery soon. When is yours? I will add you to my prayer list right now. God bless you with a skilled surgery team, compassionate caregivers, and the patience to heal smoothly and completely without any problems.
