Regaining my Spark

I originally joined SparkPeople back in February of 2007 but due to problems in my personal life, I slacked off in a MAJOR way and basically stopped caring. Now I find myself right back where I started and even though I weigh less than I did the first time around, I'm still OVERweight...which is unacceptable. I also have another health issue [that wasn't an issue 2 years ago] but the one good thing about it is that it's given me the kick in the butt I needed to pick ...

I originally joined SparkPeople back in February of 2007 but due to problems in my personal life, I slacked off in a MAJOR way and basically stopped caring. Now I find myself right back where I started and even though I weigh less than I did the first time around, I'm still OVERweight...which is unacceptable. I also have another health issue [that wasn't an issue 2 years ago] but the one good thing about it is that it's given me the kick in the butt I needed to pick myself up and start anew. Coming back to SP was definitely a no-brainer and since my return, I have a renewed sense of appreciation for everything this site has to offer. I've got a new attitude towards life with a screen name that says it all: I am truly a work in progress but this time...I'm in it to win it!!

~ elimated fried foods

~ minimal amount of red meat

~ more fruits & veggies

~ NO junk food

Workout:

The Biggest Loser dvds [Cardio Max and Weight Loss Yoga] ~ at least 3 days a week

walk ~ 30 to 45 minutes, 3 days a week
