I have had a LOT of struggles with my weight in my 30s. I would like to blame it on pregnancy, but the truth is I lost most of my baby weight within a couple of months of my son's birth. But, when he was only 3 months old, I had a terrible "crash" in my marriage and had several years of one stressful event after another. During that time, my weight continued to climb.

I now see a doctor to help with managing my weight since my own efforts have not panned out AT ALL. I weigh 65 pounds more than I did when I got pregnant and would like to lose at least most of that.

I am cautiously optimistic that I can do this.

My Goals:
1st goal: Exercise 10 min/day

2nd goal: Eat within calorie range 5 days out of the week

3rd goal: 1-2 glasses of water EVERY day (amazing how many days go by that I drink no water)

4th goal: Let my son pick 1 thing for us to do together each week.

My Program:
Try to maintain my goals for the month, then adjust them as I get better at it. AND not to just focus on weight & health things, but on my house & son, too. Balance & order!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I was and am feeling very blessed today and just wanted to share that with others. I'm glad you found it and it blessed you. God is so awesome and He loves you completely.
Yes..it's time to do some Spring Cleaning ..in more ways than one! I'm feeling it too and ready to make my list and start working on checking those things off! Hope you have a happy week! emoticon

Hi Cathy,
Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. It brought tears to my eyes. I think sometimes I am so hard on myself and if I am not counting calories, exercising, getting spark points and blogging each day I feel like I have failed and I give up on everything. I appreciate that you "gave me permission" to set a new goal for now. I was just trying to talk to myself about why I have to be all or nothing?! It is a crazy way to be.
