My original Post back in June:
My name is Coreen, and I'm a first time mom who is having a hard time accepting the 20 lbs I have left to lose... so instead of accepting those 20 lbs. I am going to do what I can to lose them, saw Spark People in my SHAPE magazine and thought hey, what the heck. Had a beautiful baby boy Quinntyn on February 27th. I love being a mom, but I would love to have my body back as well!

Today: I have lost 35 lbs from my highest pregnancy weight, 10 of which came off after I started spark people. I really use the tracker to count my calories and nutrients, and exercise almost every day. I am happier, healthier, and I have hope!

It's always great to hear from someone who totally "gets it"!!!! I can't even tell you how many times I've felt like no one could possibly understand how hard it is to balance all this.

I guess it all comes down to making good decisions. I really want to get this weight off... and I haven't felt this self-conscious in a long time. So obviously I need to do this because it's something I want.

Too bad we don't live closer together so we could actually get through some of this together. Besides, I bet Owen and Quinn would be great buddies! :)

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my page! Things are going well for me this weekend! Just got back from a Geocaching event that I put off - looking to get people to start a club. Had a good showing, and people had fun, so woohoo!

Also did a 10k on the treadmill this morning. Took 80 mins and the longest I've ever gone before was 65. I have blisters now though. Congrats to you for signing up for a real 10k! I don't think I'd even be able to do a 5k on solid ground. That's the downfall of the 'mill. Good luck with the training!

Thanks for the blog comment, and feel free to use my soap box any time! I use it alot, but it's def big enough for the both of us!

I do agree with you, that they are just jealous. We poke fun at one of our co-workers because when she eats something bad she always says she'll just have a "little sliver". But then we all admire her for being able to say no to the cake or whatever it might be... and we let her know that, too. Wouldn't hurt her feelings for the world!

Way to go, for packing a healthy lunch! And, duh, you work in a hospital? Aren't the benefits of healthy eating (or rather the consequences of unhealthy eating) all around you!?! How can your co-workers make fun of you!? You're right, they're probably jealous!
