5/11/13 - Starting the Spring into Summer 5 % Challenge. 3/9/13 - Grand child number 4 is here. 2/13/13 - Fall 5% Challenge - I will exercise 5 days a week for at least 60 minutes a day for the 8 week challenge. I currently wear a size 32 pants and I weigh 342.2 lbs. I am not a happy camper. Update: 2/9/12 Been back on Spark for a week now. I currently wear a size 30 pants and I weigh 328.9. I have a lot of work to do. I'm at a size 26 again. Yes! Update: 1/11/10 - I am now the grandmother of three: Skyler 9, Kaley 3, and Kamille, 2 months old. Update 11/17/09 - Back to a size 28. Update 5/30/09 - Wedding Day! I now wear a size 24. Update 1/2/09 - Starting over. I now wear a size 26. Read my blogs to see my progress. Update 1/2/08 - I went from a size 28 to a size 22. I'm making progress. 6/7/07 - I live in the Los Angeles area. I have had three sons and I have an active grandson. I am engaged to a wonderful man. Just recently I attended a couple of weddings. I found myself trying to hold my jacket closed so people would not notice my stomach. I don't want to do that any more. That is why I am sharing my weight loss progress online. I feel that I will have to follow through if people are watching my results.

My Goals:
My goal is to eventually lead a more active life. I intend to walk on a daily basis and for fun, instead of going to the movies all of the time, I want to go bike riding and skating. I plan to lose at least 50 pounds by February. My fiance and I are going on a Super Bowl Cruise. But my ultimate goal is to lose over 100 pounds.
My Program:
I've started walking during my lunch break at work. I already walk on the weekends with my fiance. I have a lot of exercise videos. I hope to make use of them at least three times a week. Update: 2/9/12 - I get up early and do my Walk Away the Pounds DVD and walk with my husband after work and on the weekends. Update: 2/15 I am now walking during my lunch hour at work.
Personal Information:
I am from California, the Los Angeles area. I've had three sons. My oldest is 29, the youngest is 18. My middle child died before the age of 21 in 2001. I have a beautiful grandson who is 7 years old. Update: 2/9/12 - My grandson just turned 12 and I have 2 beautiful granddaughters, 5 and 2.
