    Hi Wolfette52,

    Just a quick hello to let you know you are not in this by yourself. I read your Sparkpage and it sounds like you want more energy and you want to be healthier for yourself and ultimately those beautiful kids and grandkids of yours. Vitality and good health can be obtained thru diet and exercise. I took a quick look at your food log to see what you are including on your diet. I highly recomment that you follow the Spark diet plan because I can see that you have very little protein in your and alot of pre-packaged, processed foods in your diet. These foods have tons of sodium which makes one retain water and feel tired and contributes to having no energy. You need protein for energy and you need good carbohydrates ... Snack well cookies and Honey nut cherrios don't count as good carbs, dear. Please look at the Spark diet and see if you can incorporate some of these healthier choices into your every day meals.     Hi Wolfette. Welcome to SP. This is such a great site. When you're feeling like quitting get on those boards and post. Plenty of people will pick you up when you're feeling down. You just need to hang in there. You're worth it. 5 pounds is a great start. I'll check in on your sparkpage periodically to see how you're doing. Best of luck to you and don't give up.

    You have made a great start. When you began to feel fed up and tired of trying (we all do!), try to focus on being there for your grandchildren. Think of how much better you will feel. I still have a good bit to lose but I am trying to focus on being healthier. This has made a huge difference in how I look at it. It isn't about getting skinny but about being in the best health we can. Good luck! Email me anytime you feel like it. I am on the computer a good bit.
