trying again

I,m 61 next week. I started @330lbs. And now am 317. I have to loose this weight because I don't leave the house. I walk with a walker and my whole body hurts. I have Lupus,CHF, degenerative bone disease. I am a cancer survived of 10 years.

I really want this to work this time so I will be able to be active.

I HAVE LOST 25 LBS. LAST YEAR. Hope to continue losing more this year.

emoticon emoticon emoticon ANY time is a great time to dig in with Sparkpeople. Give yourself a big hug for making this positive choice for yourself. Take your time to explore all the resources available for you here. It can seem overwhelming because there are so many resources to choose from. Two to consider using are the Nutrition and Fitness Trackers. Also, check out Spark Teams under the COMMUNITY Tab. Do searches on your goals, interests, hobbies, whatever. Then join one, two or more Spark teams. You'll enjoy getting to know these folks and giving and getting lots of encouragement along the way. It's all good. Enjoy the journey!
