Post-Partum Weight loss challenge
Trying to get back into shape after babe #2. Lost 20lbs after delivery, -30- 40lbs to go. I cannot BELIEVE I let it get that bad! My goal is to build some serious muscle, in addition to losing the weight, so that when I get pregnant with #3, I'll be in a better place fitness-wise and hopefully gain less weight and lose it faster afterward. :) Ambitious, much? Also: I hate working out and I hate worrying about my diet. But basically, I want to build muscle and workout so that once ...

My Goals:
I need to lose 30lbs of weight gained from my 2nd pregnancy. My 2nd born daughter arrived in May and I have been using Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred since July 11. My goal is to be between 125 and 130 in time for our first family trip to Disneyland next summer. Hopefully I can stick w/ the program!
My Program:
Stop eating like a pregnant woman. Drink more water. Don't eat two hours before bed. 30DayShred daily
Other Information:
I recently gave birth to my second child - a sweet, chubby little girl. Her birth was the most empowering experience I have ever had...I labored and delivered her with virtually zero medical intervention (except the oversight of a midwife) in a peaceful, quiet room at a hospital. She was born into my arms. My life has been utterly altered by this event and the strength I dug deep for while I was giving birth is something that I now draw from each and every time I go to work out. I cannot even describe how it has changed me except that I now feel like I can do almost anything...I feel like I've scaled an incredible mountain and I have gained something (in confidence and power) that is valuable beyond measure. I wish for every woman the same experience.
