I have put on some before and after pics of me. If I can loose 100+ pounds anybody can. I have the original sweet tooth. I have problems with depression which lead to excesive eating. And gang I quit smoking after 30 + years at 2 packs aday.

I am not posting this to brag, however I am an expert on depression and the medical side effects depression can cause. In my case I would get depressed for weeks on end, I became very listless and sat around and ate and smoked. The more I ate and smoked the more I got depressed.

The more weight I gained the less things I liked to do I was unable to do. Which lead to more depression and other medical concerns.

I NO LONGER TAKE ANY ANTI DEPRESSANTS. I Not longer take Blood pressure reducing medications and my bp is now in the PERFECT range I think this is because of my level of physical activity. My total cholestoral was 277 which is a very high and dangerous cholesterol lever. As of last Friday (April 21st, 2006) my total cholesterol is 116 which is way below normal (my physican joking suggestion I go and have a cheeseburger).

My point is this, Take control of your weight and you will be amazed as I am of how so many other areas in you life will fall into place.

Rule #1: BE HAPPY

    Hi Jolaine,

Sorry I just got to reading your post.

I am FINALLY back on track, I sure do have a problem with chocolate, known it for years.

Took my 17 year old to the store a few weeks back and we decided to share an milky way dark. Since she weighs 100 pounds and is a runner no biggy for her(I am so happy for her too). Well, this 1/2 candy bar lit a fire under me that literally sent me out of control for 2 weeks.

I got as high as 198. Up from 188 in just 10 days. Back down to 192 or so now.

I agree with you to much to fast. But there is one point I will disagree on. This fat shall not come back!!!! It takes to much efforrt, work, excuse making, embarressment and shame to be fat. (for me any how)

    Be Happy
