hey have you ever tried calorie cycling?? a spark friend of mine told me about it awhile back. she said she uses it every time she plateaus and it works for her. there is this website you can check out:
it's a little scary because (for me at least) the calorie amounts (even for EXTREME FAT LOSS) are a lot higher than that spark says. i am actually thinking about doing it for 2 weeks to see if i can get my own body to jump-start back into the weight loss mode again. it's hard because i just started working out again too, so that can make your body retain water (pounds) and that gets frustrating.

i have been.... struggling.... a lot. actually i just had a miscarriage in december, so that's been rough. depression for me = eating baaaaad, so i've put on a bit of weight. i'm struggling to get back in the swing of things, but my husband says he wants to do it with me, so hopefully we can change our lives for good this time!!
the green monsters is something i found out about on this website: www.greenmonstermovement.com (created by a blogger i read, ohsheglows.com) basically i put 3-4 cups uncooked spinach (she cooks hers because she says it helps you to absorb more of the nutrients, but i'm too lazy right now, hahaha), a cup of skim milk, usually half a scoop of chocolate protein powder, and then either banana, frozen strawberries or other fruit, peanut butter, that kind of thing. i put it all in my blender and blend it up, and its an interesting little smoothie!! that's cool you got a juicer, a friend of mine got her boyfriend one for christmas!! i thought this would be a healthy thing i can have for breakfast and a good way to sneak in some more fruits and veggies. i want to experiment a little more with things i can put in them, but for now i am liking them!! :) thanks for stopping by my page, it was nice to hear from you!! keep up the great work lady, you're a rock star!!! 2574 days ago

hi!! :) yes i am slowly but surely getting back on track. the race is less than 3 weeks away and i'm getting very excited!! i feel SO much better now that i have done the distance. and yeah, the BL challenge is definitely good motivation to try to keep my eating in check and not completely give in to the sometimes crazy hunger after the long miles i've been running.

hey thanks for the comment on my page :) i'm trying to stay positive and motivated but sometimes it really it tough. i'm training for the Fox Cities Half Marathon coming up in a few weeks, so i've been running more than i ever had and i'm not quite sure yet how to balance calories in vs calories out with the whole running issue. to make it more pressing, i joined a biggest loser challenge at the Community Weight Center in appleton, and so i have to go weigh-in every week and it's disappointing me not to see the scale moving as i would like it to! oh well.... hopefully my perseverence will pay off in the end! :)
