On the run

This picture of me with the muscles was taken about 13 years ago when I played hockey. The one below it was taken 5 years ago when I ran my first marathon. Then I gained 20 pounds after starting a new job which--at the end of the day left me feeling drained...not motivated to go for a run. But in 2012, I started a program with Unique U and dropped 30 pounds. Back to my "fighting weight" and feeling terrific. Now my goal is to keep it this way.

Favorite exercise: biking and jogging. My dad got me started with running many in the late 80's and my 1st road race was the Thanksgiving Day 10k in 1991 (ran about a 10 minute mile). Since then, I've run 4 marathons and enjoy running local races.

To maintain my goal weight and I'd like to get back to being able to run a 5k in 30 minutes.

My Program:
Bicycling in the park. Running 3 - 4 miles on my treadmill or in the park 3 or 4 times a week; add more strength training, especially for arms & core.

thanks lol! well i wish it was that easy, where i live we only get one or 2 concerts a year if were lucky! so we have to travel to see them and im not familar enough with t hese bigger cities so i tend to hope for the best lol. hope your day is treating you well. im ready to watch a movie here soon and relax a bit. :)
