Teressa's Window on My Weight Loss Journey

Hi, my name is Teressa. I'm a full-time accounting manager and blogger, wife and mother of two adult children. It has finally clicked with me that a healthy lifestyle is a lifetime goal and I am happy you are on this journey with me!! My life seems to be changing drastically from one day to the next, but very happy to have been married for over 27 years to my very patient hubby!!

My Goals:
Goal: Lose 25 pounds by June 1, 2016.

Total weight loss since 1/1/10: 24 pounds.

Goal for Spring 5% Challenge -
to eat 1200-1550 calories per day following the DASH Diet plan
to burn 500 calories per week
to go from 153 to 145 by May 21, 2016




My Program:
My Spring 5% Challenge Commitment:
Cardio walk for at least 20 minutes 4 x week
10-20 minutes a day of stretching and strength training exercises
Yoga 1 x week
Follow DASH Healthy Eating Plan
I will support my team by participating in all the LTGL challenges, reading blogs when time allows, congratulating every Casual Traveller in the spotlight and posting when appropriate.
I will weigh in on Saturdays and attempt to track everything!! I will be a good Challenge Leader and try to connect with all the members of my team.

emoticon again for stopping by my blog. I think matching my food to what I want may be Linda Spangle's best advice so far. I have eaten way too much food I didn't want instead of a reasonable amount of what I wanted. I am definitely making some changes there. emoticon
