Witsend Focus on Success

I have been up and down in weight for a long time. It's time to get back to the downside ( and stay there).
Getting married a few years ago has made a lifestyle change that isn't the best. My husband LOVES food, but exercise is not his bag.
Time for the wife to take control of her own destiney once more.

My Goals:
Goals - 1 month at a time
December
- get the Spark Page up and learn to use it.
-Find teh exercise videos and do one of them at least twice a week.
-go for a lunch time 15 minute walk 3 times per week

My Program:
Program - use the Spark nutritional page to track calories
Use Flat Belly Diet recipes and eating guides

Personal Information:
I'm very frustrated with "diets". As soon as you stop following that eating plan, you gain the weight back. So, here I am, the person who hates to write it all down, measure everything, etc. etc.
Making the commitment to do it and stick with it until I get to the wieght I want to be.
This is a stretch goal for me.

Other Information:
I have 5 grandchildren. I want to be able to hike, ride bikes, go for walks and generally have fun with them.
Gotta get a bit more slim to manage that without exhaustion!

HI BUDDY!

emoticon I went to the gym for the first time in months and months even though my hip is still hurting from that mysterious *pop* the other day- NO EXCUSES. I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes, starting slowly at 2.6 and moved it up a notch each time my songs changed on my shuffle.

Here's one of my favorite quotes to motivate us into action:

HI BUDDY!

I was on vacation to Disneyworld last week and am just now going through 1529 emails... so I apologize for being absent during our first week of our Nashville challenge!

I actually came back from vacation -.4 lbs down and am pleased with that (especially based on the way we ate on vacation.) I hope to get back into the gym this week and get my exercise minutes in.... how are you doing toward yours?

Let's define 2 of our areas that become our toughest battles to work on these next six weeks. Mine are:
• Resisting junk food & sweets
• Exercise time

What about you?
