A New Page in the Book

Hi! Thanks for stopping by.

I took about one year off from SparkPeople. I am so happy to be back.
In my year off I discovered the power of raw/vegan eating. I also lost my addiction to coffee and other caffeinated beverages. I gave up alcohol for the most part. And I learned and applied the rules of food combining.

In the process of doing all that, I lost about 11 pounds. I'm on my final stretch now, and will be pulling all my willpower together to make it to my ultimate goal of 125 pounds.

My GOYAMM plan for November 2012:
- swim, walk, run, bike, or elliptical every day
- strength training 3 days per week

I’m just cruising around cheering folks through their journey to health!

“Fight one more round. When your arms are so tired that you can hardly lift your hands to come on guard, fight one more round. When your nose is bleeding and your eyes are black and you are so tired that you wish your opponent would crack you one on the jay and put you to sleep, fight one more round – remembering that the man who always fights one more round is never whipped.” ~ James Corbett

“If you focus on results, you will never change. If you focus on change, you will get results.” ~ Jack Dixon

“It does not take much strength to do things, but it requires great strength to decide on what to do.” ~ Elbert Hubbard

Have a healthy week!
