Below is my past. I joined sparrk eat somewhat healthy and lost alot weight (abt 55lbs), many more inches and gained muscle galore. I looked amazing. Then I got lazy. Gave up as the weight came on and stayed in denial. Said it was edema or because of my meds and pain. Only when it got to be dangerously close to my highest weight ever did I say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! NO MORE EXCUSES. I can't wait for my buddy to join me. This is my life and I need to live. For me, my daughter & my family. No more laying around all day. I'll find my limits and surpass them. I'm already almost thru a week (5days and down 3lb) but mentally I'm happy and proud of myself. I will keep this up and if anyone wants a buddy, join me!
Love yourself first. Make you a priority. When you find time every day to push play and get your workout done, you take another step towards your goal!
My motivations have changed over the last year. Now it is about improving my health, living longer for my baby girl, and keeping up with her. Also by helping other to find success through Sparkpeople.
I am very fortunate to have founded Spark People and been able to lose 55 pounds so far. Without Spark and my cousin Dana (my spark friend and workout buddy), I wouldn't be where I stand today. Because I am so grateful, I want to give back, Pay it forward. I am willing to help anyone who wants it. Don't be afraid to ask me anything. No topic is off limits:)! Many years of mistakes has taught me that we are all the same. We all make mistakes and usually the same ones over and over. I now see myself in everyone I meet and it gives me a greater feeling of peace and sympathy for others.
Help someone daily over and over
Smile and brighten a strangers face, who knows you may make a new friend.
I believe these statements help me stay grounded and remember what is important. It keeps me from spiraling to a place with a very small world. ME. It's dark and lonely and filled with self doubt.
THAT'S NOT LIVING! So I will always go back to the above and fill my heart with gratitude, love, understanding and forgiveness.
I will post a few pictures to remind us What a Wonderful World we live in!!!! Remember everyday you spend thinking about yesterday or worrying about tomorrow is wasted. We are just a pinch off the source, but we can make a big difference.

Current workout 9/09 Finishing last month of Chalean Extreme for second time! First 90 days I lost 28 pounds and 26.5 inches! I can't wait to see new results!
11/30/08 11lbs for month
12/12/08 5lbs (weighed even though I am retaining water,will reweigh in a few days)
12/20/08 2lbs yeah
1/1/09 Ok I'm starting the New Year great, down 3 more pounds! I am celebrating today, I am getting a new workout video!!!
1/12/09 3 more gone!
2/1/09 2 pounds gone!
2/25/09 back to 2/1 weight (Feb I went up and down alot, water weight)
3/4/09 2 pounds
3/30/09 +6 pounds in last few weeks due to weight training.
4/3 -4 pounds
4/6 -2 pounds yeah baby I love my Body Bugg! 8 pounds in 7 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am at my lowest yet.
4/10 -3 pounds 185 Mini Goal #1 (checkmark)
4/20 -1 (184) went up to 187 from strength training but now down again, although my weight is not showing my success because my muscles are very tight and toned and I have lost many many inches! I love Chalean Extreme workouts and my cousin Dana for getting it for me!!!!
4/30 -3 (181)
15 pounds and 13.5 inches gone!
5/3- -1 (180) 14 pounds to get to goal but I am really happy with the way I look now!
5/27 -2 WOW 50 lbs gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah baby!
6/6 -2 SCORE! GOAL MET 169lbs!!!
7/08 Didn't lose pounds but gained muscle and lost inches. Gained 14 pounds of water and muscle in the beginning of the month but lost it all by August.
July/August/September Repeating Chalean Extreme.
1. Initially get into next jean size down. Long term to wear my jeans from last fall.
2 be full of energy and exude confidence and joy and peace.
3. Be healthy for my baby girl and be a great role model of health and nutrition.
4. Be on a plan I can maintain for my life and learn to find balance in food, exercise, and fun.
*Concentrate on healthy habits and not the scale!
*I measure my water intake.
*follow Eat2Live diet but allow myself a treat meal and dessert 1x/wk,
*Get exercise everyday
* Yoga 1-2 times a week.
*30min-hour minimum of cardio (walking/running, elliptical, swimming, or biking, Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, Slim in 6, P90X, Power 90)
*no night eating/binging
* love every minute of it.
*Challenge myself to be the best, strongest, smartest I can be. *Never compare to anyone else.
*Challenge my mind as much as my body. *Read books every free moment, keep crosswords by my side too.
I love kids, animals, mother earth, and my family.
I am educated, funny, loyal, and a great friend. I enjoy passing on lessons I've learned in life but I am open to anything you will teach me as well.
