Wishes turn into goals, and dreams come alive.

I've always wished I could be thinner, be healthier, and wishing I liked the person I saw in the mirror. Personal trials have lead me threw the darkest days I've had to endour. But like they say, the sun shines brighter after the storm passes, and the sun is looking might bright. I've taken charge of my life and turned my wishing into doing. Becoming the person I always wished I could be. Inside and out. Took me 3 years working on the inside to be comfortable enough to transform my outsides. ...

My Goals:
Life events have delayed my progress but I'm not giving up! I'm resetting my goal weight for 155 by my birthday in April.

I have joined the YMCA and go 3 to 4 days a week, from 1-2 hours at a time. Doing cardio and weights.

My plan is to continue doing what I'm doing. I'm enjoying working out and watching the lbs fall away.

My Program:
Eating healthier foods, with proper portions.

Logging at least 4 hours of cardio a week and strength training at least twice a week.

Going on walks with the kids.

Personal Information:
My name is Alicia and I'm from Colorado.

I'm slowly taking chances but it just makes my life more complicated. Lol. Probably more confused than ever but I guess it's a learning experience.

Everything you wrote is completely true! I would tell that living a life in fear of rejection and pain is not living. It is better to live a life of mistakes than it is to have a life full of regret. I have slowly made progress with opening myself up. But, I still have so much to learn and I sometimes feel like retreating back behind the wall. I think deep down I know that it will all work out one day.

Here is another awesome quote that sums it all up!

“A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.”― George Bernard Shaw
